Kempfenhausen – A 59-year-old woman from Berg was hit by a truck on Tuesday morning and, according to Oliver Jauch, was “severely injured” by the Starnberg police.
According to him, she was "thrown one to two meters through the air" and hit her head on the road.
The accident happened around 10.45 a.m. on Münchner Straße in Kempfenhausen at the junction to Milchberg.
The 18-ton truck with a trailer came from the direction of Percha.
According to the police investigation, “the woman suddenly went into the street.
The truck driver didn't have a chance to brake," Jauch told Starnberger Merkur.
The 59-year-old was taken to the Großhadern Clinic by the emergency services and operated on there immediately while resuscitation was ongoing.
Jauch said in the late afternoon: "We are currently not assuming a fatal accident."
The truck driver was also taken to the hospital in shock.
Münchner Strasse was then completely closed until 1 p.m., after which traffic could be diverted in one lane past the scene of the accident.
From 2.45 p.m. the road was completely free again.
The traffic control took over the volunteer fire brigade Berg.
