Shimon Sassi from Netanya is the suspect in the robbery committed in Tel Aviv at the end of December • The victim who arrived said: "I came to see who did this to me, I was left destitute" • The suspect denied what was attributed to him • The detention was extended by three days, but the judge claimed In the high bar "

Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Judge Christina Assad Hilu today (Tuesday) extended for three days the detention of Shimon Sassi, a resident of Netanya, who is suspected of involvement in the safe robbery that took place about two months ago in the safe complex on Ehad Ha'am Street in Tel Aviv.

One of the victims came to court and said he was "left destitute and came to see who did it to him".

Yesterday, about two months after the incident, the police arrested Sassi, a 41.-year-old resident of Netanya.

A police spokesman said it was a serious robbery incident, in which two suspects threatened the security guard who broke into 30 safes and robbed foreign money worth millions as well as jewelry.

The suspect denied what was attributed to him.

The defense attorney, Jackie Sagron, argued that "the arrest warrant against his client was issued about two weeks ago and a search of his home did not find any money or stolen jewelry." He gave investigators reasons why he spoke to him.

Judge Assad Hilu, who extended his detention, wrote in her decision that there was a reasonable initial suspicion linking the suspect to the suspicions attributed to him.

However, Judge Hilu added that "the reasonable suspicion that binds the suspect is not at a high level and the suspect should be further investigated while in custody."

A. One of the victims who stole his safe came to court to see who the person who was arrested was:

'I came to see who was the person who did this to me.

Who stole my life.

It happened four days after my wedding and all the checks from the wedding were still there, including my mom's and dad's jewelry.

They took my whole life, as soon as there was a robbery I went to complain. '

As you may recall, in late December, a robbery took place in the safe complex of the "Ruthenium" company on Ehad Ha'am Street, the robbers forced the guard with handcuffs while threatening to harm him.

They emptied dozens of safes.

After the robbers left, the guard managed to break free and called the police.

The investigation revealed that the robbers registered at the same safe complex because only then did they know that they could enter the compound after entering, the robbers went down towards the safes and went through several security circles, when as mentioned then they met the guard at the entrance to the safe room.

The policemen collected the security cameras from the compound as well as from the whole area, in order to track down the escape route of those robbers.

The customers in the compound, most of them French-Israelis, arrived at the safe after the weekend in the morning to check if their safe had been broken into, with a severe feeling of anger and disappointment.

Some of them went inside, and even if their safe was not broken into, they appeared to be leaving with the contents of the safe: cash, Rolex watches or jewelry.

Some of the customers who came said that although their safe had not been broken into, they came to see with their own eyes that everything was fine with their safe.

A customer who left the place and found out that his safe had not been broken into shared: 'The robbers only stole the large safes.

I put in the safe because the banks stopped giving safe service.

A new immigrant from France, who discovered that the watches he had deposited in a safe had been stolen, said angrily: "Only in Israel can there be such a thing - enter here as if it were a grocery store."

After they broke into my house while they slept and stole things from us - I decided to put the precious things in the safe.

Now I will not take things out of the safe, because I'm sure now it will be the safest place.

It's just Grandpa's stuff, but these are very expensive things like Rolex watches, which are worth a lot of money.

They also have sentimental value. "
