Damascus-SANA

The Ministry of Justice circulated the electronic form of the wounded Al-Watan card to the courts and judicial departments for approval to grant its holders the services and privileges provided by the Ministry to them without the need to submit additional documents.

In its circular, which SANA received a copy of today, the ministry indicated that the courts and judicial departments must exempt the holder of a wounded Al-Watan electronic card from the stamp fee in all personal non-profit transactions with public authorities.

The ministry stressed that the Judicial Inspection Department and public defenders should monitor the proper application of this circular and inform the Ministry of Justice of any violation of its content.

It is noteworthy that the Homeland Wounded Project had announced at the end of last year the start of issuing the Homeland Wounded Card for the wounded in war operations who had a disability rate of 40 percent or more, whether from the military wounded or the wounded of the Popular Defense Forces, provided that the card was issued to the wounded with a disability rate of 60 percent and above.
