The development in the investigation of the large safe robbery in Tel Aviv, which was reflected this morning (Tuesday) in the first arrest of a suspect in an incident that took place about two months ago, raises hopes that the police can now solve the question marks surrounding the case.
The hunt for the robbers in the safe complex in Tel Aviv began immediately after the incident, and as part of it, the police tried to track down the escape route of the robbers.
As part of the investigation and the hunting operations, a special investigation team was set up and technological means were used, including cellular location, and photographs were collected from dozens of security cameras in the area.

According to testimony from the incident, the robbers, who were armed, arrived at the compound located in front of the Great Synagogue with protective masks against Corona on their faces.
They piled on the security guard, forced him, broke into the safe room, robbed him - and fled.
However, so far it has not been announced, and it is not clear if the police know, how the robbers piled on the security guard and what was their escape route.
Another riddle left hanging in the air is with what loot the robbers left the guard room.
The incident occurred on Thursday at 6 p.m., when the company received a call from a man who claimed he intended to make a deposit of money in one of the safes.
At the same place, a group of armed and masked robbers arrived at the building.
They tied up the security guard and began to empty the contents of the safes in the room, which covers an area of 500 square meters.

However, the company issued a notice to its customers emphasizing, among other things, that "a small number of safes had been broken into" and the investigation is ongoing.
The company noted that customers who did not receive a real-time notification of the burglary, "their safe was not broken into."
A statement issued by the company said that "it is important to note that an initial inspection shows that all the boxes that were removed remained in the compound."
However, the report did not include the amount stolen and it is not known even if valuables were stolen.
The event shocked the public in Israel, among other things due to the meticulous operation and the script that seems to have been taken from a thriller.
