A serious truck accident occurred near Manching on Tuesday morning.
The balance: A truck driver died, two others were seriously injured.
Manching – A truck driver died in a serious accident near Manching, southeast of Ingolstadt, on Tuesday morning.
The police also reported several injuries.
Manching: One dead and two seriously injured in a truck accident
According to the Manching fire brigade, the accident happened in the morning at around 5:23 a.m. on federal road 16 near Lindach.
The polluter, a truck driver, drove his vehicle in the direction of Neuchâtel and got into oncoming traffic near Manching (district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm).
There he first struck another truck and then collided head-on with another truck.
Terrible truck accident near Manching: the driver was killed immediately
According to the Manching fire department, several people were trapped.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident died instantly and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the striped truck was taken to a hospital with serious injuries due to a splinter of glass in his eye.
The driver of the second oncoming truck was also seriously injured.
The age of the three drivers and the passenger was initially unclear.
