Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today (Wednesday) referred in a closed conversation to the multiplicity of crises in the coalition and said that "this is not a disintegration but a pressure of the end of the session."

He said, "The government is working great, and the coalition in the Knesset is indeed shaking, but not a quake that will disintegrate."

Bennett met today in the Knesset with all the party leaders in an effort to resolve the crisis of the Pensions Law, because of which the coalition canceled, withdrew or lost all the votes that were in the plenum this week.

After hearing Labor and Meretz's objections to the pension plan promoted by Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, the prime minister expressed in closed-door talks that a compromise would finally be reached that the law would be passed on first reading while committing to changes later in the committee's legislative process.

In talks with party leaders Bennett said that "one can argue and discuss the nature of pensions, but in the end something went through the government - and all parties need to sanctify the process and the rules of the game, that what goes through the government and what goes through the Ministerial Committee can be appealed, and then ".

Tomorrow evening, all the party leaders will gather for the first joint meeting since the outbreak of the pension crisis and the mediation efforts will continue.

Due to the blue-and-white boycott in protest of the delay in the pension bill, Bennett decided today that the coalition would withdraw all private bills that were supposed to go up in the plenum, releasing the MKs home, leading to a series of opposition victories over their private bills.

His goal, he said, was to "create an electric shock" and "wake up" to all coalition factions.

"The tolerance for the program is over as you request."

It became known that during the week, Bennett sought to examine with the Attorney General the possibility of being content with the government's decision on the pension outline, thus overcoming the effort to mobilize a majority in the Knesset.

However, since there is an opinion of Deputy Attorney General Raz Nazri who has already stated that legislation is needed on the subject, officials in the Prime Minister's Office estimated that the Attorney General will not intervene.
