A paraglider was "
evacuated unscathed
" on Wednesday afternoon, February 23, after having inadvertently hung his glider on a pylon of a gondola in Chamonix, said the Chamonix High Mountain Gendarmerie Peloton (PGHM).

The accident occurred on the lower part of the Planpraz gondola, which leads, among other things, to a take-off site very popular with paragliders.
“
More fear than harm
” for the man who “
found himself hooked up on the gondola
”, but was able to be “
evacuated unscathed
” to the parking lot below, commented the PGHM rescuers.

In photos published by the newspaper Le Dauphiné Libéré and on social networks, we can see the man, black jacket and red pants, suspended several meters above the ground from his sail, itself tangled and rolled up in a ball and hooked to the pylon from one side.
