An agent of the French Embassy in Senegal, suspected of having child pornography images, was indicted in Paris and remanded in custody, AFP learned on Wednesday February 23 from concordant sources, confirming information from 20 minutes.

Aged 58, this network administrator from the French Embassy was arrested on February 12 at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport by investigators from the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons (OCRVP), said a source familiar with the matter.
The investigators, who managed to identify his IP address, suspect this man, previously unknown to the police, of having exchanged child pornography files on the internet.

He was indicted by an investigating judge in Paris on February 15 for possession, distribution and import of child pornography files, habitual consultation of child pornography sites and corruption of minors aged 15, according to a judicial source.
He was remanded in custody, the source said.
