Ten Chadian soldiers were killed in an ambush by the terrorist group "Boko Haram" in the region of Lake Chad while participating in a military operation against the extremist organization.
And local media quoted Chadian army spokesman Azem Mbermando as saying that "ten Chadian soldiers were killed after they were ambushed during their participation in a military operation against a base of the Boko Haram group."
Mbermando added that the army destroyed an ISIS base and confiscated weapons and ammunition.
It is noteworthy that since 2015, the organization launched attacks in Chad, Cameroon and Niger, where its attacks in the countries of the Lake Chad Basin resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 people and the flight of 360,000 others.
