Today, 13 talented people presented their literary and lyrical creations in a meeting hosted by the Palace of Culture in As-Suwayda City, amid the presence and interaction of a number of interested young people.
The meeting, which was held by the Directorate of Culture in Sweida, in cooperation with the team of one hundred writers and writers, under the title “Wishes 2” included a collection of poems and texts.
Prose and thoughts that carried topics of a human, sentimental and patriotic nature, in addition to a number of tarab songs.
From the team of one hundred writers and writers in As-Suwayda Governorate, the organization’s official, Tammam Obaid, found in a statement to SANA Cultural that this type of event aims to help the young generation to show their talents and work to develop them, encouraging and motivating them to be more creative, noting the role of the Directorate of Culture in embracing this event and other activities that set up by the team.
During the interview of a number of participants in the meeting with SANA's reporter, Rahaf Azzam, 20, who presented a song for Najat Al-Saghira, stated that this event reflects the aspirations of young people for the better and the importance of providing them with support under these difficult circumstances, so that we can make them artists and writers.
Young Silwan Al-Arbeed, 29, who read a vertical poem entitled “Nectar of Love,” considered that this event gives him an impetus to continue writing and making his poetry more known to others.
The young woman, Lauren Kiwan, 22, expressed her happiness with the idea she presented entitled "Disappointment", in which she presents how young people face the difficulties they encounter to be more powerful in their aspirations for the future.
