The “food court” led by Moma Group and Virginie Godard, planned for the start of the 2022 school year at Ateliers Gaîté (14th), finally unveils the very promising content of its gourmet hall.

Announced for nearly four years within the Ateliers Gaîté, in the Montparnasse district (14th), Food Society, which should open in September 2022 in a space of 3500 m2, has just (finally) announced the headliners of its gastronomic and event programming.

And the least we can say is that the wait was justified!

On the kitchen side, it is Virginie Godard, at the origin of the Food Market of Belleville, who was responsible for bringing together a set of chefs and restaurateurs in the wind to occupy the fifteen restaurant stands that will have the gourmet hall.

The 30-year-old invited:

  • Fabrizio Ferrara of L'Osteria Ferrara (11th) for a trattoria offer;

  • Adrien Cachot, finalist of the 11th season “Top Chef” with a singular universe, for a tapas bar;

  • Le Favori (11th) for its gourmet sandwiches;

  • The starred and ex-Top Chef Mory Sacko for a tailor-made concept;

  • Louie Louie for its quality pizzas;

  • Blend for

    “THE novelty burger never seen in France”

    ;

  • Krügen for its Breton pancakes and pancakes;

  • Abdel Alaoui from Yemma for his revisited Moroccan street food offer.

For sweets, it's the Fou de Pâtisserie, a cutting-edge multi-chef shop, which will be in charge of the selection of desserts by exceptional pastry chefs.

Cocktail lovers will not be forgotten, since Margot Lecarpentier will duplicate a (Small) Combat on the spot.

Which will be complemented by an offer of natural wines and a wine merchant.

An artistic program by Lionel Bensemoun

In addition to the 15 restaurants, the cocktail bar and the cellar/deli, Food Society will host and a large central bar, and will be open 7 days a week, from morning to evening.

Visitors can also enjoy a terrace overlooking Avenue du Maine.

As for the event, musical and artistic programming of the place, it is taken care of by Lionel Bensemoun, figure of the Parisian party and ex-boss of the Le Baron club.

Food Society promises entertainment throughout the year to punctuate the place: concerts, aperitifs, tastings... in what its instigators describe as an "organic labyrinth", imagined by Studio Jadot, where the visitor is invited to wander from kiosk to kiosk, lunch on the go or to take away, dinner with friends, have a drink...

Initiated by Moma Group (Manko, Lapérouse, Noto...) and Unibail Rodamco Westfield (group specializing in shopping centers), Food Society Paris, integrated into the heart of a new district bringing together leisure, shops, housing, crèche, conferences, coworking and hotel, should finally be inaugurated a little more than two years after a first opening in Lyon, in June 2020, at the La Part-Dieu shopping center.
