Truck driver found dead under motorway bridge: Police have terrible suspicions

After a fatal accident on the A45, the police have new insights into the cause of death.

Passers-by discover a dead man under a bridge on the A45 in Hesse.
Initially, the police assumed a suicide.
However, an expert arrives at a different scenario.
Dillenburg/Herborn – After the tragic accident on the A45 between Dillenburg and Herborn (Lahn-Dill-Kreis)*, the police published terrible findings after their investigation.
On January 21, 2022, a truck driver died there around 6 a.m.
The man was found dead by witnesses under the Ambachtal Bridge around 9 a.m., the police said.
Initially, the police assumed it was a suicide**.
According to initial findings, the 53-year-old from the Lahn-Dill district should have walked in front of a trailer truck on the A45.
However, after the work of an expert had been completed, the evidence indicated that the 53-year-old stopped on the bridge to lash a tarpaulin to his truck.

"He was presumably caught by a gust of wind, lost his balance and fell down," the police wrote in a statement on Wednesday (February 23, 2022).
The driver of the passing semitrailer was in shock after the accident on the Ambachtalbrücke between Herborn and Dillenburg.
The A45 was completely blocked in the direction of Frankfurt between the Herborn-Süd and Ehringshausen junctions.
In addition to police officers from the Mittelhessen motorway station, rescue workers and the motorway maintenance department were on duty.
