Unknown tie dead dog to car: driver drags animal unnoticed behind car

A driver dragged a dead dog behind her unnoticed.

A woman in Oberstdorf had not noticed that strangers had tied a dead dog to her car.
She pulled the animal behind the wagon.
The police are investigating.
Oberstdorf – Unknown people tied a dead dog to a 69-year-old's car.
Witnesses pointed out to the woman in Oberstdorf (Oberallgäu district) that she was pulling the dead animal on her car.
The police announced on Wednesday.
The traces indicate that the small dog was previously laid dead on the rear axle and tied with a rope and only fell down while driving on Tuesday.

The cause of death and where the animal came from are currently under investigation, police said.
The breed of the dog is also still unclear, said a police spokesman.
The carcass was said to be in “poor condition” after the ride.
The police are now investigating a violation of the Animal By-Products Disposal Act and insult.
"Even a dead dog must be properly disposed of," said the police spokesman.
"That was apparently not the case here." The insult is being investigated because it is possible that the perpetrator or perpetrators wanted to expose the driver through their actions.
