On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated internationally, the Arab Cultural Center in Qamishli held a literary meeting for four poets from the city.
The meeting included various poetic poems between the Al-Fathila poetry and the two-part system, and sentimental poems by poets "Feezah Al-Qadri, Rawda Al-Muktaf, Hawas Al-Ali and Muhammad Aref".
Al-Qadri, who works as head of the cultural center in Qamishli, explained that this meeting comes within the scope of interest in a human cultural heritage through poetry and poems that we present as poets, noting her participation in poems through which she embodied feelings of love for the homeland, family and nature.
As for Al-Mutaf, her poems were dominated by spinning, and she wove through her words the love and giving that the island woman gives to her family and her country.
As for the two poets, Al-Ali, who presented the poem “For those who left us” and Aref, who recited the poem “Matar”, they indicated that their participation comes on this international day in which the Syrians participate in the world in their ancient Arabic language, which carries a diverse poetic heritage because Syria is an artistic mosaic that was created to spread perfume and spread peace. .
