Female worker of Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Plant fell from 16 meters high and was unconscious and sent to hospital for emergency treatment

A woman at Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Plant fell from a height and fell unconscious.

This morning (24th) at about 9 am, the police received a report that a woman fell from a height at a site of the Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works on Zhu Wan Street, Sheung Shui and became unconscious.

Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene, and the woman fell into a coma and was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital by ambulance.

The police temporarily classified the case as an industrial accident.

The injured female worker, surnamed Pan (52 years old), is understood to be a cleaner for the drainage construction project of the sewage treatment plant, responsible for cleaning construction waste in the drum-shaped tower.

At the time of the incident, it was suspected that he fell from a 16-meter iron frame and fell to the ground. His colleagues witnessed it and called the police for help.
