Within the framework of the implementation of the national project for the Syrian reliability of software companies within the context of the government’s digital transformation strategy and according to the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Communications and Technology and the Syrian Scientific Informatics Association, the association implemented a training course on the general concepts of reliability for the cadres of Syrian software companies.
Engineer Mahmoud Elias, director of the Syrian Reliability Project for Programming Companies, told SANA reporter that the goal of the course, which began on the 22nd of this month and ends today at the headquarters of the Training and Rehabilitation Center of the Syrian Scientific Informatics Society in Damascus, is to introduce national companies to the concept of CMMI and encourage them to obtain reliability to prove their role in Providing efficient software and guiding it to the steps to obtain this reliability.
Elias pointed out that the course targets government institutions and all programming companies in the public and private sectors, noting that it will move to other courses in the same field in addition to remote courses for all governorates to spread the benefit.
In turn, the Director of Technical Development at the Ministry of Communications, the trainer, Engineer Osama Ahmed, indicated that 14 trainees from 8 companies participated in the course, who received four hours of daily training on the latest software products to serve the digital transformation projects that are spreading widely in Syria.
A number of trainees stressed the importance of the course in the world of technology and its products and digital transformation in order to achieve the companies obtaining the required reliability and help them in refining their skills and expertise. Both trainees Majd Qassem and Muhammad Ibrahim indicated that the training program constituted an added value for workers in this field to advance technological production.
