Markus Söder recently relaxed the corona rules in Bavaria.

When asked by Merkur.de, the Ministry of Health now commented on an important detail.

Munich – The Corona * rules have been relaxed in Bavaria for exactly a week, Prime Minister Markus Söder * (CSU) had announced them two days earlier.

A complete rule overview can be found here.

A decisive change: unvaccinated people can participate more in public life again.

Corona rules in Bavaria: 2G instead of 2G plus/3G instead of 2G - again more options for the unvaccinated

  • 2G instead of 2G plus:

The Free State is relaxing the corona rules for those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered.

Large areas of public life, such as sports, cultural and leisure events, are accessible again without an additional test* or booster vaccination*.

  • 3G instead of 2G:

In Bavaria, even unvaccinated people have access to some other areas of public life again - if they show a negative test instead.

3G instead of the previous 2G will then apply, among other things, to universities, extracurricular education, vocational training, further education and training, music schools, libraries and archives, museums and exhibitions, fitness studios and solariums, personal active sporting activities (including practical sports training ) as well as active participation in amateur ensembles (e.g. orchestras or amateur drama groups).

3G in Bavaria: Ministry clarifies Corona rule

Bavaria is also making it possible for those who have not been vaccinated to participate more in public life.

With a negative corona test, you can go back to the hairdresser or to the museum, for example.

But what happens if the test loses its validity after entering?

Do you have to leave the museum immediately or can you stay?

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health made this clear when asked by

Merkur.de

.

Accordingly, the test certificate is required for access to the respective facility: “

This means that the validity of the test certificate depends on the time of access.

If the validity of the respective test certificate expires during the stay in the facility concerned, this is harmless.”

3G rule in Bavaria: Ministry comments on corona tests

When asked, the ministry also explained again which tests are valid for how long.

The requirements for the test certificate result from § 5 paragraph 3 of the 15th BayIfSMV.

After that, a written or electronic negative test evidence is based on

  • a PCR test, PoC-PCR test or a test using other methods of nucleic acid amplification technology that was carried out no more than 48 hours ago, or

  • a PoC antigen test performed no more than 24 hours ago, or

  • to provide an antigen test approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, carried out under supervision for self-use by laypersons (self-tests), which was carried out no more than 24 hours ago.

Opening of clubs and discotheques in Bavaria?

Adjust Step by Step Rules

At the prime ministers' conference, the prospect of opening clubs and discotheques under 2G Plus was also announced.

March 4th was given as the date.

Is that realistic for Bayern?

"

The specific implementation of the MPK decision in Bavaria is left to the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The Bavarian state government will adjust the measures step by step as the development of the pandemic makes it necessary and possible,"

the spokeswoman told

Merkur.de.
