The Syrian Center for Human Rights, which is affiliated with the opposition to the Assad regime, reported this morning (Thursday) that in an attack attributed to Israel in the Damascus area, six people were killed: two of the Syrian army forces and four of the Iranian militias.
The center noted that the identities of the militiamen are unknown and the number of dead may rise due to serious injuries.
According to the Syrian center, the attack focused on sites and weapons depots belonging to Iranian militias in the vicinity of Damascus airport.
It was also reported that one of the missiles hit the air defense system.
According to the center, air defense systems' attempts to repel the attack led to violent explosions in the area, with remnants of missiles falling in the area of the village of Deir Salman.
