Starnberg – Last night a drunk driver drove into a garbage house on Bahnhofstrasse. He tells the police fairy tales.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m., according to police.
The 56-year-old driver from Starnberger was on the Bahnhofstraße in the direction of the Söckinger crossing.
For initially unclear reasons, he drove to the left into a driveway and there against a garbage can house.
Motorists from Starnberg have 1.8 per mil alcohol in their blood
Instead of taking care of the damage, he backed up his BMW and continued onto Söckinger Strasse.
There he came to a halt at Mühlbergstraße.
When the patrol arrived, the driver was standing next to his car and on the phone – allegedly with his insurance company.
In the course of the conversation, the officials noticed the driver's indistinct pronunciation, and the man also staggered slightly, which is why the officials carried out an alcohol test on him - the result: almost 1.8 per mille.
The driver's license is gone, the car has to be towed
After taking blood, the man from Starnberg had to hand in his driver's license that night.
The BMW had to be towed away with severe front damage, and the garbage can house was also massively damaged.
