Belarus has announced its readiness to host negotiations between Russia and Ukraine if the two sides agree on that.
"If the Russian and Ukrainian parties reach an agreement to conduct negotiations, Minsk will be ready to provide all assistance and we will make every effort to make them a success," RIA Novosti news agency quoted Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Anatoly Glaza as saying today.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced Russia's readiness to send a delegation to Minsk to negotiate with a Ukrainian delegation, pointing out that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko assured President Putin that Minsk would be ready to create all necessary conditions for the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.
