British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be granted asylum if he decides to leave Kiev.
And British media quoted Johnson as telling the British Parliament that Britain "will give Ukraine all the support it will need."
Meanwhile, the British government has frozen the assets of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Britain in response to the Russian military operation in Ukraine, AFP reported.
And the European Union's foreign policy official, Josep Borrell, announced that the bloc's foreign ministers decided to include Putin and Lavrov on the European Union's sanctions lists, while the Russian Foreign Ministry vowed to respond appropriately to this decision.
