The Deininger through road will soon be renovated.

Can't you just lay empty pipes for a potential village heating system?

There was a controversy in the council over this issue.

A brief but intense exchange of words recently broke out in the Eglingen municipal council.

It was about a possible village heating system for Deining.

– Normally things are relatively harmonious in the municipal council.

That was different in the last session.

The reason was a push by Michael Neubauer (CSU).

He asked whether it wouldn't make sense to lay empty pipes for a village heating system when the Deininger through road is to be renewed next year.

"You could ask a specialist company if that's possible."

Something like that is also being considered in Beuerberg and in Ergertshausen.

“The through road will last for decades.

Now is the right time to think about it.” That didn't sit well with Paul Miller (Free Voters).

"That's completely unrealistic, totally wrong," he complained.

From his professional experience he knows that you can't just lay empty pipes on suspicion.

“Hydraulic adjustments are necessary, you need a master plan.” Neubauer objected: “I would like to ask my colleagues to remain objective.

I'm not off, and neither was my suggestion.” Miller retracted the term off.

Mayor Hubert Oberhauser was also skeptical about the matter: “It will be rather difficult.

“At my next meeting with Andreas Scharli from Energiewende Oberland, I will ask if that is conceivable.”
