German economy shrinks by 0.3 percent at the end of the year

The German economy held up better in the Corona wave at the end of 2021 than initially assumed.
Wiesbaden - The gross domestic product fell in the fourth quarter compared to the previous quarter by 0.3 percent, as the Federal Statistical Office announced on Friday.
In a first estimate, the Wiesbaden authority assumed a decrease of 0.7 percent.
