The traditional costume exhibition of the Egerländer Gmoi in the city museum will be extended until the end of March due to the great interest.
Group tours are also possible.
Geretsried – The traditional costume exhibition of the Egerländer Gmoi, which has been running in the Geretsried City Museum since December last year, will be extended until the end of March due to the great interest.
This is announced by the board of directors of the Egerländer Gmoi, Helmut Hahn.
You can see traditional costumes from the seven Egerland traditional costume areas as well as jewelery and accessories.
In the past few days, Hahn was able to welcome two groups to the museum due to the somewhat relaxed corona restrictions.
About 20 people from the active group of the Egerländer Gmoi and ten members of the board and the dance group of the Transylvanian Saxons took the opportunity to visit the exhibition in the evening.
"Ingrid Hammerschmied, who is responsible for national costumes, provided the expert explanations, and her interesting and detailed explanations even provided the insiders of the active Egerländer with a number of unknown details."
Other group tours are offered by arrangement.
