It's hot, it's delicious, it's iconic!
But what exactly is the secret of the EVF currywurst that the Brucker ice hockey club sells in a booth at every home game?
Fürstenfeldbruck – Ralf Möller can best answer this question.
He has been offering the four-euro delicacy for ten years and claims: “90 percent of the viewers don't come because of the game, but because of the sausage.

There are said to be even fans of visiting teams who don't put up with the hardships of traveling for several hours to cheer, but only because of the temptation at the food stand.
No wonder, because the delicacy made headlines nationwide.

The EVF sausage is the same one that recently almost triggered an employee revolt at VW headquarters in Wolfsburg after the company canteen at Europe's largest car manufacturer went meat-free.
After all, more “VW curry sausages” were sold there every year (seven million) than cars were delivered.
In 1973 it was produced for the first time in the group butcher's shop.
G'schmäckle
The EVF gets the valuable goods delivered thanks to relationships, as Möller, who comes from Bremen, explains.
Ordinary consumers can also fry themselves an extra sausage and order the original VW part from an online butcher shop based in the Mercedes city of Stuttgart (five pieces for 9.69 euros).
But the car sausage tastes best when Ralf Möller serves it hot, hot and fiery with an ice hockey tidbit in the ice-cold open-air arena.
