Serbian Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic denounced the West's position on the Russian military operation in Ukraine and its demands for his country to condemn it, indicating that the West has forgotten its violations of international law.
"The West is trying to convince Serbia that what is happening in Ukraine is a flagrant violation of international law, while forgetting its violation of international law in Kosovo," TASS news agency quoted Dacic as saying in a speech today.
Dacic added: "If we impose sanctions and spoil relations with Russia and China, we will cut the line on which we sit and protect our territorial integrity," expressing his country's refusal to support the positions of Western countries by imposing sanctions on Russia.
