The "Z" painted in white on the vehicles of the invading Russian army is only a sign of recognition intended to avoid "friendly fire".
We are however taken aback by the choice of a letter which does not appear in the Cyrillic alphabet (where "Z" is written "3"), but refers to the nickname given by the Ukrainians to their President Volodymyr Zelensky: "the Z ".

"The Z" has a target behind it: its elimination - political or physical - is one of the objectives assigned to Moscow's forces.
Let's not be fooled by the Kremlin's vocabulary: its willingness to
"negotiate"
with the Ukrainians concerns only the terms of their surrender.
