Police officers in the Barzeh neighborhood of Damascus arrested five people for theft of shops and water meters from residential buildings.
The Ministry of Interior stated that while the Barzeh Police Department's patrols were carrying out their duties, they arrested three people in flagrante delicto who were breaking and removing the locks of shops.
The ministry stated that the members of the department were also able to arrest two other people who committed several thefts of water meters from residential buildings, and by interrogating them, they confessed what was attributed to them, noting that the necessary action was taken against the arrested and they will be brought to the competent judiciary.
