The authorities in the Comoros announced today the loss of a small plane with 14 people on board, which was flying between two islands in the archipelago in the Indian Ocean.
"A Cessna plane, which was on a flight between the capital, Moroni, on the island of Grand Comore, and Fomboni on the island of Moheli, was lost," AFP quoted the AB airline as saying in a statement, explaining that the plane was supposed to land about forty minutes after take-off, but it disappeared. Off the radar over the sea, 2.5 kilometers from the airport you're heading to.
The authorities in the Comoros are conducting searches, as a speedboat was sent to the place where the plane was lost.
