In the video: Hitting a cinema in Chernivtsiya Ukraine (Walla system!)
A historic cinema in the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv was destroyed today (Sunday) by a missile, which was apparently launched from Belarus.
The social media published documentation of the remains of the building, which was defined as an architectural monument and turned into a heap of ruins.
Authorities in the city, near the border with Belarus and Russia, claimed the target was the government building, but the missile missed a target with it.
It is estimated that it was an Iskander missile launched by Russian forces deployed in Belarus and hit the building, which is located in a square in the city center.
Ukraine accuses Belarus of allowing Russia to attack it from its territory, but Minsk denies it.
Despite the escalation in hostilities, the Kiev authorities have agreed to send a delegation today for talks with Russian representatives at a border crossing with Belarus.
