Within the activities of the Arts Festival “Young Seniors… Arts brings us together” for children, which is held by the Ministry of Education in all governorates, the Martyr Muhammad Yahya Shaheen School for Basic Education in Sheikh Badr implemented an open day with the aim of highlighting the talents of children of all ages, each according to his artistic inclinations.

The first director of art education in the Tartous Education Directorate and head of the technical committee in charge of evaluating children's talents, Firas Badran, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the festival is directed to pre-university education stages and includes all the governorate’s schools to shed light on the students’ artistic talents and encourage them in drawing, music, sports, dance and dedicating these activities To spread communication, love, cooperation and promote artistic values.

Among the paragraphs that were held at the Martyr Muhammad Yahya Shaheen School today, according to the school director Anwar Jafoul, was the opening of an exhibition that included paintings and handicrafts made by children’s hands to express the extent of their culture, talents, and love for their homeland and their leader.

Several artistic activities were also held, including a revival of the Aleppo Qudoud presented by the two children, Jad and Zina Shaheen, trained by teacher Helan Ismail, who focused on the fact that young children can demonstrate abilities greater than their age to show the aesthetics of the Aleppo Quddoud, which was recently registered on the World Heritage List in honor of the late artist. The teacher, Nariman Ahmed, expressed the importance of children's participation in presenting the most beautiful paintings and recycling the assets of the environment around us.

It is noteworthy that the sub-committees will follow up on the selection of works and performances that are subject to the same criteria for their participation in the final festival, the date of which will be determined by the Directorate of Education in Tartous later.
