The Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Al-Hasakah conducted a survey on the areas affected by the bombing of the American occupation and the separatist “Qasd” militia in the Al-Zohour and Ghweran neighborhoods in the city of Al-Hasakah during the chaos that took place in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary Prison last month.

Based on the survey, the destruction of dozens of citizens' homes was documented, in addition to the destruction of many public facilities and buildings of educational facilities.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Al-Hasakah Ibrahim Khalaf indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the number of houses that were affected by the bombing of the American occupation and were discovered by the directorate in the neighborhoods of Gweran and Al-Zohour amounted to 62 houses, 12 of which were partially destroyed and 50 completely, in addition to the destruction left by the bombing of the air force. The American occupation in the buildings of university faculties of civil engineering and economics, the Institute of Technical Monitors, and the Al-Basel Laboratory.

Local sources indicated to the reporter that the majority of the people whose homes were destroyed were forced to flee to the shelters and are still residing there, pointing out that the destruction of their homes came in the context of a malicious scheme by the American occupation forces implemented by the “Qasd” militia in order to evacuate the area and empty it completely of its residents, as it is located near the Headquarters and bases of occupation.

The people called for the intervention of all concerned authorities and international organizations to document the violations and terrorist practices of the “Qasd militia” against the people of Ghweran neighborhood and work to compensate them and provide them with appropriate alternatives.

Hundreds of residents of the southern neighborhoods of al-Hasakah were forced to leave their homes as a result of the US occupation warplanes destroying a number of homes and shops, in addition to destroying most educational facilities in the area under the pretext of pursuing fugitives from the terrorist organization (ISIS).

In addition, the concerned authorities in Al-Hasakah and the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent continue to secure these families in temporary shelters and provide them with the necessary needs.
