Four injured and two hours full closure are the result of a rear-end collision on the A 94 near Dorfen on Sunday evening.

Dorfen

– The A 94 towards Munich was completely closed for two hours on Sunday evening at the Dorfen junction.

The reason was a rear-end collision in which four people were injured, according to the Hohenbrunn traffic police.

A woman from Mühldorf was flown to a clinic with the rescue helicopter.

This was preceded by another accident, which police officers recorded at the end of the junction's merging strip.

The end of the acceleration lane was secured with pylons and the patrol vehicle with blue lights.

Traffic flowed in two lanes on the main carriageway.

Around 5:30 p.m., a 19-year-old woman from Munich drove into the car of a woman from Mühldorf in the left lane.

The young woman realized too late that the car in front of her was braking.

Both vehicles jammed into each other and stopped in the middle of the two lanes.

The 19-year-old and her passenger were able to get out of the car with minor injuries.

The occupants of the car ahead sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Despite the shock, the driver's fiancé freed her from the car and carried her to the shoulder.

The woman was then treated by the rescue service and was flown to one of the surrounding hospitals in a rescue helicopter.

The motorway was completely closed for around two hours for cleaning work and towing the vehicles.

The property damage amounts to at least 25,000 euros.

The Dorfen fire brigade and the Ampfing motorway maintenance department were on duty.
