Zero stars for a restaurant in Baden-Württemberg: The operator quickly declared Russian guests "undesirable" and was heavily criticized.

Bietigheim/Bissingen – The Ukraine conflict* worries many people, so protests are being made around the world for peace and against the attack.

A restaurant in Bietigheim (Rastatt district) now took more drastic measures, which, however, met with strong rejection.

With fatal consequences for the operators!

Restaurant in Baden-Württemberg causes a stir with entry ban for Russians

, the restaurant wrote on its website that people with a Russian passport were considered "undesirable".

It was further read that the "'normal' Russian citizen is not to blame for the criminal actions of the Russian government".

But the time had come to set a sign.

The entry ban for Russian citizens would be understood as a contribution "so that our children can live in a peaceful Europe".

Statement after Shitstorm: Restaurant reacts to allegations

Sharp words that met with even sharper criticism.

On social networks like Twitter and Facebook, people reacted with horror to this action.

"Ugh, whoever comes to you should be ashamed" and "No-Go.

You can hate the regime and its supporters, but not all Russians in general," the user said.

The restaurant responded to the vehement rejection and removed the post from its website.

The operator of the bar later wrote on Facebook and the website that it was a mistake to base criticism of the Russian president for the attack on Ukraine on nationality.

Operator is concerned about the safety of his family and employees

"To all supporters and understanders of Putin: This is not politics, this is murder!

Anyone who feels that this statement is wrong or even defamatory of Putin is free to [...] terminate the friendship and stay away from now on.

It was a mistake to base criticism of Putin on nationality.

I never wanted to insult anyone because of their nationality.

However, this does not justify threatening my family and employees," the statement said.

Call for protest: Police monitor restaurant

The operator's apology was not enough for many Internet users, and protests against the restaurant were called for.

The restaurant will therefore be monitored until further notice, said a police spokesman on Monday.

We want to make sure there are no crimes.

The German Press Agency reports that they were already present on Sunday until the restaurant closed.

Elsewhere in Baden-Württemberg, the mood is better.

The fools are again jumping through Rottweil in large numbers.
