British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss confirmed that banning the Russian "RT" channel from working in Britain is likely to lead to a ban on the British "BBC" channel from working in Russia.
Russia Today website quoted Trace as saying in a speech to the British Parliament today: “We are studying what we can do with (RT), but in reality, banning it in the United Kingdom will most likely lead to the banning of channels such as (bbc) in Russia,” noting the need to take action. Informed decisions in this regard.
And the British “Ofcom” body, which monitors the work of the media in the Kingdom, had opened 15 new investigations with “RT” for allegedly violating Ofcom’s rules for covering controversial political events. The investigations are about reports and news releases about recent events in Ukraine.
