Inning - A detached house in Inning was broken into last week.
However, since the house is primarily used as a holiday and weekend home, the burglary was only noticed on Friday afternoon.
The perpetrator or perpetrators had broken open a window using an 80 centimeter long pruning shears found at the crime scene.
After they got into the house, they ransacked all the cupboards and drawers in the basement, ground floor and first floor, but couldn't take anything apart from a finger ring.
To the bad luck of the perpetrators that there were no valuables in the house, there is now the fact that the ring is only costume jewelery worth around 20 euros.
Thus, the property damage caused at the window exceeds the prey damage many times over.
