Despite the difficult Corona framework conditions, most of the young people who were looking for an apprenticeship were successful.
The problem: Many industries need even more junior staff.

The municipalities of Eching and Neufahrn merged to form a "training initiative".
In particular, local companies are offered a platform.
Neufahrn/Eching
– Especially in the difficult times of the pandemic, the municipalities of Eching and Neufahrn would like to support companies and young professionals with a new offensive in recruiting young professionals.
Experience has shown that filling training positions is a challenging task for everyone involved.
"As early as the end of 2021, an Eching project team led by business developer Ms. Stadler and Neufahrn's location promoter Mr. Kretz developed initial ideas and suggestions for strengthening the recruitment of skilled workers within the municipalities," says a press release.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
In Eching, a competent team consisting of economic development, youth center, adult education center and two companies made the preparations.
In Neufahrn, location promoter Felix Kretz has won the mentors of the middle school and the JUZ as cooperation partners.
Neufahrn companies are currently being sought for the project team.
Training fair in planning
The focus of the current initiative is on profiles of the Echingen and Neufahrn companies that advertise the training opportunities as well as internships and holiday jobs for young people and those interested in a job.
The municipality of Neufahrn reports that Stadler and Kretz have already successfully recruited around 15 companies with the training initiative.
Project start is now in the carnival holidays.
Then the companies put out their wanted posters in the youth centres, after the end of the holidays they are also distributed to the schools.
The companies also receive support through the publication of profiles on the websites of the municipalities.
In the medium term, an annually rotating training fair is also planned in Eching and Neufahrn, with the starting shot being given on November 16th in the Echingen community center.
In 2023 the trade fair will then be set up in Neufahrn.
