An art exhibition highlights the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy in Al-Hasakah

The third exhibition of Arabic calligraphy, which was opened in the city of Al-Hasakah, bore the fingerprints of thirty calligraphers and plastic artists from the people of the province.

The exhibition held by the Safsaf Al-Khabour Cultural Association in cooperation with the branch of the Union of Fine Artists and the Sawa Youth Center of the Al-Mawadda Charitable Association, contained approximately 50 plastic art paintings, with an increase in the number of participants, as confirmed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Safsaf Association, researcher Ahmed Al-Hussein.

Al-Hussein explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibition, which is being held by the association in cooperation with a number of partners, was distinguished by the multiplicity and diversity of experiences, which reflected the aesthetic manifestations of Arabic calligraphy in its forms and types as both calligraphy and letter at the same time. and value.

The artist and calligrapher Abdul Rahman Batoura pointed out that the importance of holding the exhibition is due to the importance of the Arabic language and calligraphy, which characterizes the Arab nation, and it is a beautiful art in its own right. Calligraphy by forming through certain style and techniques showed the aesthetics of calligraphy better.

As for the artist and calligrapher Ahmed Al-Hammour, he explained that he participated in the exhibition with three paintings, two of them in the script of the Thuluth script, noting the participation of various materials in the exhibition, including the calligraphy, the kasbah and other techniques of calligraphy, which is one of the most beautiful types of art that can be developed and blended.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition activities and the paintings displayed in it will continue during the next two days in the hall of the Sawa Youth Center.
