The sky has opened, almost all countries in the world receive Israeli tourists (some are only vaccinated) and the demand for vacations abroad is skyrocketing. An examination of Israel today reveals huge differences in the ticket prices for Passover, compared to the two weeks after the holiday.
It is clear and obvious that the higher the demand, the higher the price and the prices on Passover and summer are regularly higher than the rest of the year.
The increase in prices is due to the long vacations that the children and parents go on, but the gaps we found in the flight prices can make you think twice before you buy a flight ticket for Passover.
A direct flight to Romania on Passover will cost at least 258 euros per person, if you wait two weeks and fly to Romania after Passover you will pay only 54 euros, a difference of more than 200 euros per ticket.
A direct flight ticket to Italy will cost at least 468 euros on Passover, after Passover ticket prices in Italy will start from 71 euros, a gap of almost 400 euros for one flight ticket.
The big differences are reflected in almost every target we tested.
A direct flight to Austria on Passover will cost 369 euros per person, after Passover the price drops to 66 euros per person.
The gaps exist in both short-haul and long-haul flights.
Of course it is important to take into account the vacation days that are worth money and the children's vacation, but if you are flying without children and working in jobs that allow you to postpone the vacation, your savings will be very significant.
It is important to emphasize that flights are only one part of the holiday expense component, even the complex vacation packages that include hotels become significantly more expensive on Passover and here too hundreds and even thousands of shekels can be saved for a passenger who can wait until the end of April.
