The investment plan of the General Industrial Company for Nylon Yarns and Hosiery during the current year focuses on investing all available energies and production lines to increase productivity and develop the produced items in order to achieve the best possible economic profit.
The company’s general manager, Abdul Karim al-Ak, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the company’s plan includes supplying a number of modern hosiery machines to manufacture modern items that keep pace with fashion and consumer tastes and increase production capacity of various sizes and qualities for men, women and children.
Al-Ak pointed out that the company continues to complete the rehabilitation and maintenance of the laundry department, which will enable it to develop its capabilities in diversifying its products from dyed yarns, in addition to producing new types of products.
Al-Ak pointed out that the company was subjected during the war years to a target that affected all its infrastructure and the loss of large quantities of its products, in addition to the destruction and sabotage of a number of production lines and machines, but it returned to work and production with the efforts of its cadres, and it witnessed a remarkable improvement in production capacity and quantities produced in all its types, which enjoys With high quality according to Syrian specifications and all its products are marketed in the local market and to the public sector authorities at competitive prices.
Al-Ak said: The company's total sales value of all products amounted to 1.633 billion pounds, with a development rate of about 191 percent from 2020, indicating that it is extracting raw materials from yarn and threads from the companies affiliated with the Textile Corporation, while the spare parts and the rest of the requirements of the production process are secured from the local market at a price The Syrian pound is what saves the company huge amounts of foreign exchange.
