Al-Hasakah-SANA
Two soldiers, one of them an officer, were martyred in a treacherous attack by the SDF militiamen linked to the US occupation on a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army in the Tal Tamer area in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka.
A military source told SANA that, “At around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, an American occupation patrol, accompanied by a group of (Qasd) militiamen, tried to enter between the Syrian Arab Army points in the village of Ghazliya in Tal Tamr countryside in Hasaka governorate. The points and forced them to return. A short time later, the SDF militiamen attacked the aforementioned site with machine guns and mortars, which led to the death of two soldiers, one of whom was an officer.
The source added that army units responded to "the sources of the fire, which led to the injury of a number of SDF militiamen."
