There is said to have been a violent explosion in Kharkiv in the Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry released a video.

Kharkiv - The Ukraine conflict continues on the sixth day since Russia invaded.

While sanctions are supposed to increase the pressure on Russia's ruler Vladimir Putin and the first peace talks have been unsuccessful, according to satellite images, a kilometer-long Russian convoy is said to be in front of Kyiv on Tuesday.

In addition to Kyiv, the second largest city in Ukraine is also the focus of the attacks.

According to information from Kyiv, there have again been heavy Russian attacks in Kharkiv.

On Tuesday (March 1), Ukraine's Foreign Ministry tweeted a video showing a rocket hitting the central Freedom Square.

A huge explosion can be seen in front of the administration building, after driving cars could be seen there shortly before the impact.

"Russia is waging war in violation of international humanitarian law," Ukraine's Foreign Ministry tweeted.

It accused the neighboring country of killing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure.

This could not be independently verified.

Russia denies the accusation.

Nothing was initially known about victims.

The ministry went on to write: "Russia's main target is large cities, which are now being shelled by its missiles."

The Russian troops had continued to advance on the second largest city in the country on Tuesday night.

According to Ukrainian sources, eleven were killed and dozens injured in attacks on Monday.

87 homes were destroyed.

Russia claims not to attack civilian objects.
