Karina Didenko arrived in Israel and claimed to have a brother in the country, and then changed her story

The Tel Aviv Court of Appeals this evening (Wednesday) rejected the appeal of Roman Willis, who sought to allow Karina Didenko, a Ukrainian citizen who arrived in Israel last Sunday to stay in Israel.

According to the announcement issued by the Population Authority, Didenko first claimed that she was the sister of an Israeli citizen, and then claimed that this was her acquaintance whom she had known on social media.

A statement from the Population Authority further states that Willis and Didenko later claimed to be spouses, but the two did not contact the Population Authority to carry out an orderly procedure on the matter.

The court rejected the two's request and allowed Roman Willis to post bail of NIS 30,000.

According to the Population Authority announcement, Willis has not deposited the bail and he will have to pay the legal expenses.

It will be recalled that Didenko's case made headlines after she was forced to stay at Ben Gurion Airport for a few days after leaving Ukraine, crossing the border into Poland and from there continuing to Israel.

Now, as stated, following the court's decision, she will have to leave the country and return to Poland if the amount of the guarantee is not paid by tomorrow.
