The Directorate of Agriculture in Damascus Suburbs Governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Animal Health in the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, is implementing a comprehensive vaccination campaign for livestock in the governorate against “mastoid streptococcal dermatitis” targeting 165,000 heads so far.
Director of Animal Health in the Ministry, Dr. Hussein Suleiman, explained in a press statement that the vaccines were distributed to all sub-departments and units affiliated with them according to campaign forms and were implemented by the veterinary cadres in the directorate and technicians working in the extension centers and units in the governorate. Awareness campaigns were also carried out for breeders to alert and report the disease. about him.
It should be noted that the campaign will continue until the tenth of the current month of March.
