Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that his country has presented many initiatives to resolve outstanding issues during the ongoing nuclear negotiations in Vienna, indicating that it is time for a political decision and the adoption of a real vision by the Western parties.
During a telephone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Abdullahian pointed out the importance of some outstanding issues and the need to preserve Iran's national interests, including in the economic fields, in these negotiations.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also expressed his satisfaction over the close cooperation between Tehran and Beijing, noting the joint cooperation plan between Iran and China.
For his part, the Chinese Foreign Minister stressed the importance of outstanding issues during the nuclear negotiations, noting that his country understands and supports the logical demands put forward by the Iranian side and looks forward to continuing progress and dealing with all parties in Vienna to reach a final agreement.
The two sides also reviewed the Ukrainian developments and expressed their hope for the success of the third meeting of the upcoming Afghan neighbors in Beijing.
