In Ukraine, soldiers and civilians continue to resist Russia's war of aggression instigated by Vladimir Putin.

Kyiv - Despite all international peace appeals, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine and is increasingly targeting the capital Kyiv.

The night passed relatively quiet - but fights and attacks were reported from several cities.

Fighting in Kharkiv

According to a media report, Russian soldiers attacked a military medical center in Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine, the country's second largest city.

The Unian agency reported that there was a fight with Ukrainian units.

At Kharkiv, the Ukrainians managed to capture six new Russian T-80BWM tanks.

Russian tank fires in Kherson

According to the Ukrinform agency, a Russian tank fired into a building of the Ukrainian secret service SBU in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson.

Interior Ministry adviser Anton Herashchenko spoke of numerous dead civilians who had defended Kherson with Molotov cocktails, among other things.

The city at the mouth of the Dnipro River is reportedly surrounded.

Dead in air raid in the city of Zhytomyr

According to the authorities, two people were killed and ten injured in an air raid in the city of Zhytomyr, around 140 kilometers west of Kyiv.
