The conversation dealt with ways of cooperation in the energy sector by benefiting from the resources and infrastructure available in the two countries and investing them optimally in light of the instability that global energy markets suffer from.
The discussion also touched on the challenges facing the water sector in the two countries. The need for continued joint coordination to ensure the rational management of water resources and to obtain the water rights of Syria and Iraq in accordance with international treaties and laws.
