Missing from Bremerhaven dead: husband in custody

A woman from Bremerhaven who has been missing for almost four weeks has been found dead.
According to the police on Wednesday, the 32-year-old was the victim of a crime.
An arrest warrant was issued for the woman's husband.
Bremerhaven - According to the information, a suitcase was discovered on Tuesday on the banks of the Weser in the middle of the city.
Inside were parts of a woman's body.
She has been identified as missing since February 4th.
The Bremerhaven police and the public prosecutor's office are investigating a homicide.

Since the disappearance of the woman of Russian origin, the police had been searching for her with all means.
Drones and search dogs were used, and a hundred police officers combed through a forest area.
Volunteers were also on the lookout.
Clues were also sought with the help of the TV program “Aktenzeichen XY … unsolved”.
Her disappearance sparked heated debates on the Russian-speaking part of the Internet.
The police did not provide any further information on the family circumstances of the dead.
