The Ukraine conflict is causing horror.

In order to show solidarity, a well-known company from Bavaria is now reacting - and stopping deliveries from Playmobil to Russia.

Zirndorf - A large company is taking consequences due to the Ukraine conflict*: The Horst Brandstätter Group is looking at the current developments with great concern and "has decided to stop delivering products from the two corporate brands PLAYMOBIL and LECHUZA to Russia with immediate effect." said the group from Zirndorf (district of Fürth *) on Tuesday, March 1st, in a press release.

The Horst Brandstätter Group had planned sales of around 10 million euros for both companies in Russia for 2022.

But the employees and the company management want "to set a sign of solidarity with the people in Ukraine," says the press release.

“We are stunned and dismayed at the incursion of Russian troops into Ukraine.

Our sympathy goes to the many people who are in acute danger of death or who are leaving their home in hundreds of thousands,” said Steffen Höpfner, CEO of the company.
