Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed in a telephone conversation today the situation around the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
A statement published by the media office of the Russian Presidency said: During the call, the two presidents discussed the situation in the context of Russia's special military operation to protect civilians in Donbass.
Putin and Tokayev also discussed issues related to further strengthening the strategic partnership and cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in various fields.
